A spot of artwork

Three Raised sleeper beds at 2 levels gave physical and aesthetic boundary strength to the north and west sides in this garden. New fence line on west and east secure the length. Yellow stock bricks edge the egg shaped lawn and compound curve edged patio, comprising of multiple toned ‘fossil mint’ Indian Sandstone. A soak away built into the left side mulched strip to help cope with incoming rain run off from higher neighbouring plots.

Overall, a generous mix of straight edges curves and levels. Spot lights to ensure nighttime appreciation as well as by day.

Yellow stock bricks were further used as risers for the patio steps. Paving was laid in bands parallel to the house using 3 sizes.

Purple slate paddle stone mulch on landscape fabric compliments the earthy tones of the brick, wood and stone and takes the edge off the harder landscape materials.
