First Step Nursery are committing to making their garden proactively all about natural play. They have a fantastic undulating topography trees and wildlife which we shall work with to enhance the character of the space as well as optimize the potential for Childs play and homes for wildlife.

So far we have removed what was considered no longer appropriate to the function of the space; old sheds, redundant equipment and a raised bed too high for a toddler to access. A willow dome has been installed at the back left corner of the site into a weeded and organic compost and bark mulched ground.

The boundary and remaining hut will receive non toxic timber treatment, and the rest of the open ground will be weeded and mulched as we install play features and natural planting.
