There was a fair bit of clay and builders rubble to remove, 5 tonnes of high quality bedding loam to put in; and then the plants.

The brief was to match the needs of a busy, rambunctious family and to grow with them. Planting was largely shrubs and bulbs as a winter scheme to be added to later next spring by perennials and annuals. SIlvers, reds, purples and greens were the palette. Spacing for shrubs to grow was observed.
